AET’s twin LR2s, Eagle Le Havre and Eagle Lyon, features on Tradewinds

We are extremely delighted to share that AET’s Naming ceremony for our two new LR2 twin vessels, Eagle Le Havre and Eagle Lyon, was featured on TradeWinds media, the shipping industry’s leading news service, on Friday, 16 June 2017. The article highlighted our auspicious and grand ceremony that was a cause for much celebration for the overall AET and MISC Group.

The article captured many of the major highlights of the official event at Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) Gunsan Shipyard, Korea. These include Godmother to our sister vessels, Mrs Helle Kristoffersen, Senior Vice-President of Strategy & Corporate Affairs in The Gas, Renewables and Power Division at French oil major TOTAL, performing the double naming and blessing of the twin vessels, and the strategic installation of LNG dual fuelled system engines in both vessels.

AET is no stranger to TradeWinds, and this feature further projects to the industry of our commitment to operate the highest quality fleet of petroleum and chemical tankers that will meet our customers’ needs now and the foreseeable future while reducing our environmental footprint.

Congratulations once again to all parties involved for this milestone accomplishment. Click here to view the full coverage now!
