Last week, we had the privilege of hosting AET’s 30th Anniversary Stakeholder Appreciation Reception and Dinner in Houston, Texas – right where we first began our journey. Surrounded by the rich history of prehistoric life at the Morian Hall of Paleontology of the Houston Museum of Natural Science, we celebrated AET’s journey of sustainable growth and innovation in the maritime sector.
We were honoured to host AET and MISC Chairman and the Board of Directors, as well as valued stakeholders from across the globe. In a welcome address, AET President & CEO and MISC President & Group CEO Zahid Osman expressed his gratitude to all stakeholders and colleagues, past and present, for their unwavering support to AET over the past three decades. These collaborations have been crucial in enabling AET to continue offering innovative maritime solutions that address the challenges and seize the opportunities of the future.
Among our esteemed guests was Captain Keith Donohue, Sector Commander, Houston/US-Galveston, US Coast Guard who honoured us with his presence. In his commemorative speech, Captain Donohue emphasized the importance of partnerships, stating, “We can’t achieve great success alone, but when we partner with a future-focused partner like AET, that’s what makes everything work.”
A key highlight of the evening was our commitment to support disaster relief and conservation efforts in Greater Houston and Galveston Bay. We pledged donations to the United Way of Greater Houston, Sinclair Elementary School, and Galveston Bay Foundation. These contributions are part of the #AETcares initiatives, reflecting our commitment to give back to the communities where we operate.
Summing up the wonderful evening, it was a celebration of our shared achievements and a look toward a sustainable future in maritime, as we enjoyed engaging conversations and reflected on our progress.
Thank you to all our stakeholders who have joined us in celebrating this significant milestone! Here’s to many more years of partnership and success.
