Leading sustainability across the maritime industry

Our President & CEO Capt. Rajalingam Subramaniam presented at the 36th Asia Pacific Petroleum (APPEC 2020) Virtual Conference on 16 September discussing the current tanker markets and challenges facing the energy shipping industry.

Speaking on the topic of “Tanker markets: Driving greener shipping – sustainability, commerciality and operational excellence”, he shared that AET was one of the first movers in green shipping taking early and bold decisions to invest in LNG dual-fuel vessels and is today partnering with oil majors to support their and our low carbon strategies. Going forward partnerships and collaboration across the industry but also talent attraction and development will be more important than ever to drive sustainability and work towards achieving the IMO 2030 and 2050 goals.

His APPEC participation was covered by Lloyd’s List and S&P Global Platts, quoting him along with other influential leaders of oil majors. To read the full articles, click on the links below.
