On 18 March 2026, we celebrated the reopening of our Galveston office following the impact of Hurricane Beryl in August 2024.
The joyous event welcomed approximately 100 attendees, including customers, partners and stakeholders to reconnect, exchange perspectives, and experience first-hand the transformation of the office. Guests toured the facility, explored a visual timeline of its restoration, and engaged with offshore colleagues who shared insights into their work. Our partner, Fleetzero, was also on site, offering a closer look at their battery technology and the future of our collaboration in battery electrification of our vessels.
Peter Liew, AET’s Global Director for Commercial, said, “The reopening of our Galveston office reflects a collective effort made possible through trust, commitment, and strong partnerships. Today, we’re also recognising our Galveston team who continues to deliver under challenging conditions.”
David Baker, AET’s Director for Commercial – Offshore, highlighted the resilience and determination of the team. He also spoke to the momentum ahead and the opportunities this next chapter brings. To commemorate this special occasion, David and Peter unveiled a commemorative propeller inscribed with: “A symbol of AETO’s resilience. With us since the beginning, through every storm. Propelling us forward as we brave new horizons.”
We’re excited to create memorable experiences and strong partnerships with our customers and business partners in this refreshed space!
