On 17 June 2025, AET participated in the 57th Annual Safety Awards Luncheon hosted by the Chamber of Shipping of America (CSA) in New Orleans, Louisiana. As a committed partner of this event, we were honoured to stand alongside peers from across the maritime sector in celebrating a shared commitment to safety.
This year, the crew of Eagle Paraiba was honoured with a Letter of Commendation, recognising the courage and professionalism of our crew in upholding the highest tradition of the sea – to aid those in peril.
They were commended for their swift response to a Mayday call, assisting a distressed vessel that was dead in the water, helping to restore power and navigate to the closest port.
In addition to these commendations, 48 of our vessels, were awarded the Jones F. Devlin Award for Safety, a testament to our safety excellence across our fleet.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to all our colleagues who play a part in upholding a strong safety culture across our operations.
