Balancing energy security today with the energy transition tomorrow was a key focus at the 18th Annual Capital Link Shipping & Marine Services Forum in London, where AET President & CEO Nick Potter joined industry leaders on the Energy Security and Shipping panel.
During the discussion on 15 September, Nick shared how energy security and decarbonisation are increasingly interconnected challenges that require collaboration across the entire value chain. He reaffirmed AET’s commitment to achieving net zero by 2050 through continued investments in lower-emission vessel designs and our fleet retrofit programme of energy-efficient technologies. He also highlighted the importance of resilience, safe operations and long-term partnerships in navigating a rapidly evolving energy landscape.
