On 21 May 2026, AET’s Head of Decarbonisation, Sobhith Hariharan, joined the Business Leaders Asia panel at the 14th Dynamic Positioning (DP) Asia Conference and Exhibition.
He shared how AET collaborated with like-minded industry partners to advance practical decarbonisation solutions across both our existing fleet through retrofits, and newbuild projects, including our first hybrid-electric, dual-fuel ethanol-ready DP shuttle tankers.
Sobhith also highlighted that while safety must remain the industry’s highest priority, there was also a need to create space for the industry to test and trial emerging technologies, enabling innovation to accelerate the transition towards a more sustainable future.
