AET Joins SMF City Cycle 2026

AET participated in the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF)’s City Cycle 2026 on Saturday, 18 April, joining industry partners to support the future of maritime in Singapore.

 

Held along Singapore’s eastern coastline as part of Singapore Maritime Week 2026, the event brought together about 150 maritime stakeholders and MaritimeONE scholars for a 20-kilometre ride under the theme “Bringing Maritime Singapore Together.” 

 

AET was represented by Nick Potter, President and CEO, who participated with several colleagues, reflecting the company’s strong support for the initiative. 

 

As one of 66 sponsors, AET contributed to the fundraising effort, which raised over S$407,000 for the MaritimeONE Scholarship and Bursary Fund to nurture the next generation of maritime talent. 

 

The event was officiated by Mr. Murali Pillai, Senior Minister of State for Law and Transport, together with SMF Chairman Mr. Hor Weng Yew, who flagged off participants and highlighted the importance of talent development in driving the industry forward. 

 

AET’s participation reflects its ongoing commitment to developing maritime talent and supporting industry-wide initiatives that equip young professionals for a rapidly evolving maritime sector.
