We were pleased to attend the Grand Reopening Gala of the Houston Maritime Center & Museum on 18 June, celebrating its move to a new home along Buffalo Bayou’s East River Development.
Officially opening to the public later this summer, the new space features expanded exhibit space, a dedicated Learning Center and community gathering areas that support events, lectures and educational programming.
Anchored in its core pillars — Collection, Education, and Connection, the Museum serves as a global hub for maritime discovery, and engaging communities and visitors of all ages.
As a member of the Houston maritime community, AET made a contribution to support the Museum. We are proud to be recognised on the Wall of Support, with others dedicated to preserving our industry’s heritage and inspiring future learning.
Congratulations to the Houston Maritime Centre & Museum, and newly appointed President Margaret Kidd, on this milestone! We look forward to seeing the museum thrive in its new space and continue inspiring future generations.
