Last weekend, our team joined the Plant-A-Tree Programme organised by the Singapore Maritime Foundation, contributing to the planting of 122 trees along Singapore’s Rail Corridor as part of the OneMillionTrees movement – which aims to plant one million more trees across Singapore by 2030.
Representing AET were Sandy Pek, Tracy Ong, Hong Yeow Ker, Jennifer Chong, Sayeed-Ul Mursalin, and our AET-MaritimeONE scholars – Enya Tan, Shaun Loo and Clare Tan.
Armed with shovels and plenty of enthusiasm, our team spent the morning braving the heat and mud to plant trees. But behind the muddy hands and tired smiles was a powerful reminder: sustainability starts with Action.
In addition to our volunteers’ efforts, we’ve also donated 15 trees to support this meaningful initiative, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and growing Singapore’s vision of a City in Nature.
We’re inspired by our team’s energy and dedication to creating a greener, more sustainable future for all. #AETcares
