President & CEO Message
As we begin 2026, I want to thank our Customers and Partners for their continued trust and collaboration. The year ahead will not be a simple one for our industry, and clarity of focus and agility matters more than ever.
We are operating in an environment defined by transition, uncertainty and increasing expectations. My priority for AET remains consistent: to deliver energy safely, reliably and responsibly, while making disciplined decisions that position the company well for the long term. #deliveringProgress
That focus matters as we move through the energy transition. At AET, safety, operational performance and customer partnership are not competing priorities, they are complementary. As I shared recently with TradeWinds, decarbonisation is a one-way street, and the shift is already underway. Our recent newbuilding orders with Samsung Heavy Industries and Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Company demonstrate our commitment to further positive change as well as broadening our solutions for Customers while deepening our capabilities in lower carbon technologies.
Fleet growth, however, is only part of the picture. Safety and operational excellence continue to define how we operate, every day. In Q4 2025, 52 of our vessels were recognised at the 2025 CSA Environmental Achievement Awards, marking our 19th consecutive year of recognition. This reflects consistent standards, strong discipline, and the professionalism of our seafarers and shore teams.
Even so, strong performance must never lead to complacency. At AET, we operate with what we describe as a mindset of chronic unease – a constant awareness that vigilance, preparedness and disciplined decision-making matter even when results are strong. This mindset underpins how we lead and how we sustain high-quality operations across our fleet.
As industry discussions increasingly focus on 2030 and beyond, I believe it is important to engage openly and constructively, sharing perspectives shaped by our operating experience. We will continue to contribute to these conversations with a focus on safety, commercial alignment and practical outcomes.
This edition also introduces Inside AET, a new segment that gives a closer look at how our operations teams think and work. Our People are our greatest asset, and I remain committed to listening, learning and improving from their amazing insights.
We continue to actively support the communities where we operate. Our Q4 highlights reflect the efforts of teams across our global locations, and I thank everyone involved for their commitment.
Thank you for being part of our journey. I wish you a safe, successful and productive year ahead.
Best Regards,
Nick Potter

AET Adds First Hybrid Electric Dynamic Positioning Shuttle Tanker (DPST) to its Growing Fleet
On 9 February 2026, we confirmed an agreement for our first hybrid electric Dynamic Positioning Shuttle Tanker, designed to be dual-fuel, lower-emissions-ready and secured on long-term charter. The latest newbuilding strengthens AET’s DPST capability and reflects our strategic investment in DPST growth — combining innovation, operational excellence and partnerships to support offshore energy production while progressing towards lower-emissions solutions.
AET is a global leader in shuttle tankers and operates one of the world’s largest DPST fleets, with 17 vessels deployed across Brazil and Norway, and further growth planned. With dual-fuel capability across all tanker segments, the addition of hybrid electric propulsion further broadens lower-emissions optionality for Customers whilst enhancing competitiveness across our fleet.
AET Signs Agreements with Samsung Heavy Industries for Two LNG Dual-Fuel Suezmax Tankers
AET signed shipbuilding agreements with Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) for two LNG dual-fuel Suezmax tankers, strengthening its portfolio of efficient, lower-emission vessels.
With these additions, AET will have dual-fuel capability across all tanker segments we operate in — from Aframaxes and Shuttle Tankers to Suezmaxes and VLCCs.

Sustaining Environmental Excellence: AET Recognised at the 2025 CSA Environmental Achievement Awards
At the 2025 Chamber of Shipping of America (CSA) Environmental Achievement Awards Dinner held on 12 November 2025, 52 of our vessels were recognised with the CSA Environmental Achievement Award. This marked our 19th consecutive year of recognition and reflects our sustained commitment to operational excellence and environmental stewardship across our fleet.
The CSA Environmental Achievement Award is presented to vessels that have maintained at least two consecutive years of operation with no reportable spills, no U.S. Coast Guard or port state citations for violations of MARPOL, and no violations of state or local pollution regulations.

HSSE: Beyond Compliance — Building Operational Readiness
In December 2025, we conducted our annual operational readiness exercise involving executive leadership and key operational teams, reinforcing the discipline and vigilance that underpin our HSSE performance and high-quality operations.
The focus was on the quality of decisions and coordination. We worked through simulations based on real-world operating scenarios to test decision-making, communication, and the robustness of our systems and protocols.
These exercises are a core part of how we sustain our high-quality operations, ensuring our people, systems and leadership remain alert, aligned and prepared to operate safely, and deliver consistently for our customers.
