At the recent Maritime Youth Forum 2025, AET connected with students, shared insights on careers in shipping, and introduced internship opportunities to support their first steps into the world of shipping.
The energy was electric as over 250 students and industry experts converged for insightful discussions and networking. Our booth buzzed with activity as we shared the AET story, showcased our work, and highlighted the internship and career opportunities we offer to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry experience.
Beyond such events, AET is committed to creating long-term opportunities for aspiring maritime professionals. Through the AET-MaritimeONE initiative, we are sponsoring four scholarships and two internships annually until 2027. Managed by the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF), this programme will provide scholars with invaluable mentorship and hands-on industry experience, giving them the edge they need to excel in the maritime sector. This initiative is part of #AETcares, our community investment programme, reinforcing our commitment to developing future talent and strengthening the industry.
We're excited to continue this journey with these bright minds, fuelling their passion and seeing how they shape the future of the maritime industry.
