Today, we join the global shipping community in marking World Maritime Day under IMO’s theme — “Our Ocean, Our Obligation, Our Opportunity”.
For us at AET, the ocean is more than a route for global trade. It is a workplace for our seafarers, a source of livelihood for coastal communities, and a home to extraordinary biodiversity. That perspective sharpens our obligation: to operate safely, responsibly and with care.
We have made progress. Our modern fleet is among the youngest and most energy-efficient in the industry. We continue to invest in solutions that reduce emissions to both sea and air. Through industry-wide initiatives, we are also working to improve life at sea, support biodiversity, and creating opportunities for learning and development.
On this World Maritime Day, we thank our partners, our customers our colleagues at sea and ashore for being part of this shared journey. Together, we can help ensure a safe, responsible, and more sustainable future for our industry and for our ocean.
